Data protection declaration

Your privacy is important to us. We want you to feel safe with us. For this reason, we and our Data Protection Officer ensure compliance with the data protection regulations, in particular with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz, BDSG new) which are applicable from 25 May 2018. In the following, we would like to advise you of the purposes for which your data is collected and used and of how you can exercise your rights. You can access and print out the data protection declaration at any time from the "Data protection" tab at the bottom of each page of our online shop.
Our electronic data processing systems are protected by technical and organisational measures against access, modification or distribution of your data by unauthorised persons, and against loss and destruction.

please send your contact address and details of your request to

+ Purpose and legal basis of the data processing

You can rest assured: We process your data in the central Customer Data Administration department of the German BAUHAUS companies (www.bauhaus.info/gesellschaften, page only available in German) purely for the purpose of answering your enquiries, fulfilling and processing contracts (including payment processing), for our own advertising purposes and for fulfilling our legal obligations. Data is processed on the basis of the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz).

Contact form
The data that you enter in the form entitled "Your personal data" is used by us to answer your enquiries, to carry out pre-contractual measures and, should contracts be entered into, to fulfil these contracts.
The legal basis for data processing is GDPR Art. 6(1) point b.

Competition
The participant's personal data will be used exclusively for implementing the competition contract, i.e. for determining the winners and delivering the prizes within the EU (legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1) point b) and will then be deleted after 3 months. Any additional use of the data for advertising purposes will take place only if the participant gives consent. The personal data provided on the participation card is required for participation and for running the competition.
The site does not use cookies.
